Hello! My name is Lo, I am currently in the Sac State Nursing Program. I am thrilled to be part of Volunteers around the World. I have had the privilege of going on two Mexico missions trips and spent 6 months exploring Australia. I love to travel and the idea of traveling to Peru to set up a medical clinic encompasses what I want to do in my life. My goal for becoming a travel nurse starts here!

About Us

Volunteers Around the World (VAW) is an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) devoted to improving the standard of living for those that live in some of the most poverty stricken communities of the world. VAW wants to provide communities with access to medical treatment, medication, nutritional security, clean water, and health education.

Mission
Our focus is to enhance community infrastructure through improved education, access to more advanced medical treatment, increased economic opportunities, and other community based initiatives.

The work of Volunteers Around the World is done by volunteers who donate their time, money and energies to the welfare of fellow human beings. It is through the efforts of these selfless individuals and working in conjunction with community members and leaders that the world will become a healthier and better place to live.
