I am extremely passionate about global health and the well-being of society. We live such privileged lives at home and often turn our backs to the devastating reality of today's global health conditions. We take so much for granted in our lives, myself included, that I find it necessary to give back to those in need. My ultimate dream is to become a practicing physician and travel across the world to provide sufficient medical care to those that would otherwise not have access to it. I believe that my role in Global Medical Brigades will act as a stepping stone to the rest of what is to come in my future.
