Test Squad School 1 aims to inspire entrepreneurism and financial literacy abroad for youth in under-resourced communities. Our Squad helps create small businesses for partner schools to diversify funding and teach real-world business skills to their students. As volunteers, we mobilize abroad to provide start-up capital, financial literacy workshops, and create areas in community banks focused on child savings programs. Each of our student volunteers has a donation goal to help cover logistical expenses while abroad such as transport, local staff, meals, insurance, accommodations, but most important the year-round follow-up to our project by local staff to ensure the sustainability over time.
