Emilia's Message

I am a sophomore Brandeis University Posse Scholar interested in Economics, Finance, and International markets. I am always looking for opportunities to put to use all of the hard work and knowledge gained from my college education. As an adopted, Hispanic female from Paraguay I’m very interested in learning more about Central and South American culture while furthering my knowledge about how financial systems work.

Volunteer Activity Description

Fundraise with your Global Business Brigades chapter on campus to meet the minimum $1,500 USD annual chapter contribution.

The annual chapter contribution directly supports the Community Investment Fund, which enables year-round economic development in partner communities carried out by our local teams. The Community Investment Fund is a critical component to GB’s Sustainable Transition Plan. Once a partner community has met specific health and economic development goals and brigades are no longer necessary, GB transitions projects fully to the community and offers follow-up with our local staff.
