For a university whose motto is “Ut prosim,” that I may serve, I wanted to give Virginia Tech pre-dental students more chances to volunteer with dental missions globally. I started a dental branch of Volunteers around the World this past spring. Now after almost a year of starting a club, recruiting, and fundraising we are finally ready for our first dental trip. We are teaming up with the University of Massachusetts to embark on our first trip this winter break. I would appreciate any kind of financial support to help get me there. Any donations will go towards my plane tickets, housing, food, and transportation while I am in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. Though many people in developing countries are in need of medical care, everyone needs some form of dental care. Please pray for me as I prepare for this trip for wisdom, empathy, and courage.
