The word empathy has always held a lot of sentimental value to me. To be able to see the world in the eyes of another is a very crucial component of compassion and I always hope to never stop learning and gaining perspective through the experiences and the perspectives of those that I have the pleasure of knowing.

As this particular word continues to follow and guide me through my studies towards a professional career as a clinical psychologist, it is also very present in many other aspects of my life. One in particular is the organization I've had the opportunity to be a part of called Global Brigades.

Global Brigades is a student run organization that provides sustainable medical and dental care to communities with limited resources. This year, my organization is going to Honduras in June to continue on with this mission. In order to execute this mission, my organization needs to fund for medications, supplies, and the trip itself and donations are greatly appreciated! Your donation is a helpful step towards equality and that, my friends, is also a step towards empathy.
