About Summer Programs
Global Brigades Summer Programs make up some of the most high-impact, experiential learning programs in the world. Global Brigades offers 1-3 week summer opportunities for all sorts of volunteers, whether students are interested in shadowing program technicians on community visits and stakeholder meetings in our Shadowing Internships, experiencing leadership development in a cross-cultural context in our Leadership Institute, or applying knowledge of health and development topics towards the continued advancement of GB's country programs in our Health & Sustainability Institute. Those selected to one of our competitive summer programs will have the opportunity to gain an in-depth look into Global Brigades as a development organization, to work on program-specific projects, to use this experience and knowledge to complement academic studies with an unforgettable on the ground experience.
