Volunteer Activity Description

Start Date: Jan 4, 2012 10:00 PM
End Date: Jan 10, 2012 10:00 PM

Water Brigade volunteers work with professional engineers to design full scale clean water systems that provide sustainable water access within the homes of rural communities. Each water system is established during week-long projects, whereby volunteers work alongside community members to implement innovative solutions and to promote health through education. After several brigades, a community is able to celebrate the creation of a complete water system, which helps to prevent communicable illnesses in communities.
