What attracted me to this program was the participants’ unified passion for causes larger than themselves, which GMB facilitates by providing relief to those countries that have restricted access to healthcare. As a future anesthesiologist and participant in Doctors Without Borders, I feel that this would be the perfect opportunity to contribute to a cause that I want to dedicate my life towards. I am very passionate about people and their well-being, which is why I have chosen to enter the field of medicine and healthcare.

About Us

Global Medical Brigades develops sustainable health initiatives and provides relief where there is limited access to healthcare. Each community receives a brigade every 3 to 4 months where hundreds of patients are treated and volunteers deliver public health workshops. Electronic patient records are collected for future visitations and to monitor overall community health trends.
