Passionate About:

Hello! I'm going to be a sophomore at Loyola University of Chicago this coming year, but I'm going to Honduras right before the year begins to help out a poor village without availability to healthcare in Honduras. This summer I am studying and researching nanophotonics at the University of New Mexico, by fabricating nanostructured substrates for cubic GaN growth (ask me if you want to know more). However, I'm more interested in (and majoring in) bioinformatics and neuroscience, as I plan on going to medical school to become a surgeon.

All donations are welcome to help out this Honduran village! Thank you for your support!

About Us

Loyola University GMB is a chapter of Global Brigades, the world\'s largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. The LUC chapter systematically works with more than 300 other university groups around the world to deliver and implement one of nine skill-based programs that benefit more than 130,000 Honduran and Panamanian community members annually.

Global Medical Brigades develops sustainable health initiatives and provides relief where there is limited access to healthcare. Each community receives a brigade every 3 to 4 months where hundreds of patients are treated and volunteers deliver public health workshops. Electronic patient records are collected for future visitations and to monitor overall community health trends.
