My passion has always been working with children. Having the opportunity to travel to Panama and help provided access and resources to basic medical and dental care provides the chance to impact the lives of many children. Not only to improve their lives, but also the lives of their family. This outreach really hits home for me because my grandmother lost her parents as a young child due to an easily treatable and very common influenza. She was an orphan at the age of 9. Had they lived in America instead of a small Italian village, they would have had access to health care and would be alive today. I am so thrilled to be apart of such an amazing organization and am ready to dedicate myself to helping improve the lives of others.
