The Michigan chapter systematically works with more than 300 other university groups around the world to deliver and implement one of nine skill-based programs that benefit more than 130,000 Honduran and Panamanian community members annually. Elon University Global Brigades

Elon University Global Brigades chapter was started in 2008 with its first brigade in May of 2009. During our inaugural brigade we saw 650 patients with the help of fifteen students, two doctors and one nurse. We are currently gearing up for our second medical brigade to Honduras on August 18th through the 24th. We have twenty dedicated students and medical professionals and are hoping to see more than 700 patients during the course of the week.
