    Human Rights Brigades at the University of California San Diego is a discipline of Global Brigades, the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. The UCSD chapter systematically works with more than 350 other university groups around the world to deliver and implement one of nine skill-based programs that benefit more than 130,000 Honduran, Panamanian, and Ghanaian community members annually.

    Human Rights Brigades is a program within Global Brigades.

    Global Human Rights Brigades empowers rural communities in Panama Este to overcome barriers to access to justice through educational workshops and legal counsel. Volunteers have the opportunity to get hands on legal experience working on cases with meaningful impact under licensed international lawyers
