I want to participate in this volunteer trip because I am dedicated to the environment and people’s interaction with it. I believe that there shouldn’t be a split between “nature” and “humans” because humans are by default part of nature. I want to focus the rest of my life tracing the connections between cities and wilderness, and I believe this experience will help me succeed in doing so.
