Passionate About:

I learned about microfinancing about two years ago and it has something that I have loved ever since. I am passionate about helping to change lives through sustainable methods that is not just a hand out or charity, but giving people an opprotunity in their lives they might not have had otherwise. I love to travel and experience different cultures, learn about how other people live and what is important to them. I am amazed that after learning and reading about microfinancing I now get to chance to experience it first hand and meet and interact with the people I will be giving loans to. I could not be more excited!

Volunteer Activity Message

Fundraise with your Global Business Brigades chapter on campus to meet the minimum $1,500 USD annual chapter contribution.

The annual chapter contribution directly supports the Community Investment Fund, which enables year-round economic development in partner communities carried out by our local teams. The Community Investment Fund is a critical component to GB’s Sustainable Transition Plan. Once a partner community has met specific health and economic development goals and brigades are no longer necessary, GB transitions projects fully to the community and offers follow-up with our local staff.

The more you fundraise, the more impact we make together!

BUSINESS Suggested donation amount: $25
On average, $25 provides a micro-loan to increase one family’s income potential.
