Passionate About:

I am currently a senior at the University of New Hampshire majoring in Medical Microbiology and minoring in Spanish. I am planning to go on to medical school in the fall of 2013 and want to specialize in Pediatric Oncology. I am from a small town in northern Vermont, tucked in front of Mount Mansfield. My other outreach experiences include volunteering with the Child Life program at Fletcher Allen Hospital as well as volunteering at the Riverview Life Skills Center for traumatic brain injury sufferers. When not focusing on the dubious task of getting into medical school I enjoy hiking, listening to music, cooking, dancing, and eating. I am extremely excited for our upcoming Brigade in January 2012 and appreciate everyone's support!

About Us

Medical Brigades of New Hampshire is a chapter of Global Brigades, the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. The New Hampshire chapter systematically works with more than 300 other university groups around the world to deliver and implement one of nine skill-based programs that benefit more than 130,000 Honduran and Panamanian community members annually. Global Medical Brigades develops sustainable health initiatives and provides relief where there is limited access to healthcare. Each community receives a brigade every 3 to 4 months where hundreds of patients are treated and volunteers deliver public health workshops. Electronic patient records are collected for future visitations and to monitor overall community health trends.
