I want to make the world a better place and I want to give back something to the community by helping others in order to share my happiness with the world and make them feel happy that there are people like me who are willing to help others.

About Us

The Stony Brook University chapter of Volunteers Around the World (VAW) consists of students that are enthusiastic and committed about addressing the health disparities that currently exists in developing countries. Through close collaboration with the Non-Governmental Organization, Volunteers Around the World, our club at Stony Brook strives towards providing rural communities in developing countries access towards dental treatment and oral hygiene, nutritional and health education.
