i am passionate about Medical care in under-served populations. Public Health and medical care in my opinion go hand in hand and must be supported. I am passionate about working with children, as they are our future. We need healthy individuals who can grow up to have aspirations, goals, and important values that will help further medical care. I believe in the right to medical care and easy access for every individual, and I hope to make my journey through the world providing it.

About Us

Medical and Dental Brigades at UC Santa Cruz is a chapter of Global Brigades, the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. The UCSC chapter systematically works with more than 300 other university groups around the world to deliver and implement one of nine skill-based programs that benefit more than 130,000 Honduran and Panamanian community members annually.

Global Medical and Dental Brigades develops sustainable health initiatives and provides relief where there is limited access to healthcare. Each community receives a brigade every 3 to 4 months where hundreds of patients are treated and volunteers deliver public health workshops. Electronic patient records are collected for future visitations and to monitor overall community health trends.
