Loyola U Microfinance Brigade Jan 2015 Honduras

Alejandra's Message

Hi Everyone!

I have been honored to lead Loyola's first ever Microfinance Brigade to Honduras this winter! My co-leads and myself are beyond excited to get this trip started. Last summer I was given the privilege of going to Ghana on a Medical/Dental Brigade and the experience there was honestly so humbling that I wanted to do it again. I can't wait to explore Honduras and get the opportunity to meet and interact with the people of that country! Please help me in reaching my goal of raising $1,550. All donations are also tax-deductible.

Volunteer Activity Description

Fundraise with your Global Business Brigades chapter on campus to meet the minimum $1,500 USD annual chapter contribution.

The annual chapter contribution directly supports the Community Investment Fund, which enables year-round economic development in partner communities carried out by our local teams. The Community Investment Fund is a critical component to GB’s Sustainable Transition Plan. Once a partner community has met specific health and economic development goals and brigades are no longer necessary, GB transitions projects fully to the community and offers follow-up with our local staff.
