Medical Brigades at Acadia University

  • About
Acadia University is a chapter of Global Brigades, the world\\\'s largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. This university chapter systematically works with more than 300 other university groups around the world to deliver and implement one of nine skill-based programs that benefit more than 130,000 Honduran and Panamanian community members annually.

Students participating in Medical/Dental Brigades empower rural communities in Honduras, Panama and Ghana by providing comprehensive health services to those with limited access to healthcare. We mobilize licensed medical professionals, community health workers, and thousands of student volunteers annually to facilitate much-needed Medical and Dental Brigades.
