    Global Brigades USA is the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Our mission is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. Since 2005, more than 30,000 volunteers from 800 university groups have traveled to implement our nine skill-based programs to benefit more than 600,000 community members in Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Ghana.

Architecture Brigades at University of California, Santa Barbara

Architecture Brigades is a discipline of Global Brigades, the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. The UCSB chapter systematically works with more than 300 other university groups around the world to deliver and implement one of nine skill-based programs that benefit more than 130,000 Honduran and Panamanian community members annually. Global Architecture Brigades designs and constructs socially responsible and sustainable architecture solutions in developing nations. A think tank design approach that utilizes extensive community dialogue and independent research to create efficient, appropriate, and elegant structures to be embraced and utilized by those for whom they were built.

Architecture Brigades- Open Brigades

Architecture Brigade volunteers design and construct schools for communities through a 7 day Architecture Brigade in Honduras. Communities then selects student school design(s) that best fit their needs during a pre-brigade design contest. For the construction of the school, all participating Architecture chapters, along with any chapters that just want to construct and not design, come together to help build. Student volunteers can get involved with an upcoming Architecture Brigade by joining a local student chapter on their college campus or joining this open brigade.

Architecture Brigades at Architectural Association School of Architecture

Architecture Brigades is a volunteer program of Global Brigades, the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. The Architectural Association chapter systematically works with more than 300 other university groups around the world to deliver and implement one of nine skill-based programs that benefit more than 130,000 Honduran and Panamanian community members annually. Architecture Brigade volunteers design and construct schools for communities through 7-10 day Architecture Brigades in Honduras. University Chapters can participate in a design competition to help draft a design for the construction for the school or just join with other University Chapters to help build the design that was selected in Honduras.
